Prospects Trust
Growing Differently
The Prospects Trust is a social enterprise that provides a supportive place to grow and learn for all, with a strong co-operative ethos where everyone has a voice that is heard. We grow vegetables and herb plants to sell through our on-site farm shop and through deliveries to outlets all over Cambridgeshire.
We’re not all about farming though! We are also accredited by Cambridge Regional College and run RARPA training courses and we develop and monitor Individual Learning Plans for each of our Co-workers. We also run a professional gardening service for 5 sessions a week which provides external work experience sessions and advancement within the organisation.
Our co-operative ethos and commitment to Equal Opportunities ensures that our Trustees, Co-managers, Support Workers, Volunteers and Co-Workers work as a team to provide a stimulating and productive workplace where everyone participates and contributes as fully as possible. We also fully support our Co-Worker Committee who feedback their ideas to our Management Committee Meetings.
We have been a registered charity since 1989 and have been organically certified by the Soil Association since 1993. We also follow the Thrive Quality Control Assurance system which is a horticultural Care Quality Standard and provide placements to adults through Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk County Councils.
