The Phoenix Trust (Milton) Ltd was founded in November 2006, based in Milton, Cambridge, where it occupies a large site offering good access and potential for product storage and display. The Trust was formed to provide work opportunities and experience for people with various degrees of learning difficulties.

Phoenix being a social enterprise prides itself that it has a training regime that enables it to tailor the training programme to the needs of the individual rather than follow the needs of the whole. We aim to improve the quality of life and self-fulfilment for our beneficiaries by providing support and advice whenever needed, together with advice for their families to enable them to understand the level of support and our procedures to obtain the same.

Beneficiaries are sent to us from Richmond Fellowship, Local Schools, the Learning Disability Partnership, and the Job Centre. We also offer help with any other problems they may be experiencing and have contacts to refer them to if we are unable to deal with them effectively. Our link with the Centre School (Cottenham VC) has become a great success as students who would not attend school on a regular basis are coming to us and doing extremely well.
