The day services provide structure, routine and learning opportunities where individuals can develop their skills, increase independence, access peer support and build on their understanding of how their brain injury affects them. Group programmes aim to meet people’s varying abilities and focus on working with people to maximise their potential and encouraging them to identify skills and goals.
Current activities include:

We also offer an information and advice service both in the community and at Addenbrooke’s hospital. Our specialist brain injury advisors offer support on a diverse range of subjects, from understanding brain injury to benefits and accessing other services. The team also run social and support opportunities across the county including socials groups, bowling group, allotment project and one off workshops.
We also provide support to clients through our YourTime volunteer projects. These aim to provide flexible support to enable clients to participate more fully in their communities, overcome personal barriers, increase social inclusion and achieve personal goals.
We accept referrals for all our services from the person themselves or anyone working with that individual including health professionals, social workers and family members.
