Darwin Nurseries is a 5 hectare smallholding on the outskirts of Cambridge, close to Marshall’s airport.  Darwin Nurseries consists of a farm shop, open to the public 7 days a week, a large greenhouse and polytunnels where summer and autumn bedding plants are grown.  A raised bed and permaculture area producing salads and vegetables organically grown to sell in the farm shop.

Darwin Nurseries is also home to a small group of livestock, Kune Kune pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits.

The above areas of work offer individuals the opportunity to choose and participate in a large range of activities where they can learn new skills and take managed risks in a secure and social setting.

Darwin Nurseries encourages individuals to work as independently as they are able and help fulfil their aspirations.

Darwin Nurseries works in partnership with Huntingdonshire Regional College to provide accredited training in horticulture.
